Community Guidelines
Clipars — random 1v1 video chat & mini-games · Version 1.0 · Last updated: [[LAST UPDATED]]
Clipars exists so two strangers can meet over a live video call, and sometimes play a quick game. That only works if everyone keeps it respectful. These Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service, and apply everywhere on the Service — video, audio, chat, messages, names, avatars and anything you draw or write.
1.The golden rule
Treat every stranger the way you'd want to be treated on your first minute online: friendly, respectful, and quick to move on politely when it isn't a match. Being bored is fine — press Next. Being hostile is not.
Zero tolerance — immediate permanent ban (and a report to the authorities where required): any sexual content involving minors, any exploitation of minors, and any attempt to involve a minor in the Service — including "watching" behaviour. Anyone who appears to be under 18 should be reported and skipped, never engaged.
2.Never do this
- Nudity or sexual content — including exposing yourself, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive behaviour on camera;
- Minors — the Service is adults only; you may not have a minor on your camera or involve one in any way (see above);
- Violence and threats — no threats, glorifying violence, or showing violent acts;
- Hate and harassment — no attacks or slurs based on race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender or sexual orientation; no stalking, bullying, or doxxing;
- Recording or sharing others — you may not record, screenshot, livestream or republish another user's video, voice, images or messages without their consent;
- Ads, spam and scams — no advertising, promotions, link-dropping, soliciting money, phishing or fraud;
- Illegal activity — nothing unlawful on camera or in messages, and no trading in illegal goods;
- Breaking the platform — no bots, scrapers, exploits, ban evasion or attempts to access others' accounts.
3.Keep yourself safe
- Don't share personal information you can't take back: address, workplace, documents, passwords, card numbers. You never have to explain why you don't.
- Other people can screenshot or record — assume anything you show can be kept. Never do anything on camera you wouldn't want saved.
- Be careful with anyone you meet here: never send money, and never meet in person based only on an anonymous call. Dating-style advances from strangers are a classic scam signal.
- If someone makes you uncomfortable — end it. Report and move on. You don't owe a stranger your time.
4.How moderation works
- Report: use the Report button on the call screen (and next to messages and profiles). Your report text is stored for moderators; calls themselves are never recorded — so include what happened in your own words.
- Block: blocking someone keeps them out of your calls and messages.
- Review: moderators review reports in queue order — we don't promise round-the-clock review. Consequences range from a warning to a permanent ban.
- Appeal: think a moderation action against you was a mistake? Write to [[SUPPORT EMAIL]].
5.Rules for games
Mini-games (like our drawing game or "Where Are We?") are shared between two people — don't use game chat to send anything you couldn't say out loud, and don't spoil, stall or weaponise a game to harass your partner. Leaving mid-game is allowed; abuse is not.
6.Changes
We may update these Guidelines as the Service evolves. The current version is always the one on this page.
