Safety on Clipars: What We Build, and What You Should Do

Meeting strangers carries two jobs: the platform's and yours. Ours is building the walls — who gets in, what happens when someone breaks the rules, and what we deliberately can't see. Yours is the part only you can do, and it's mostly quick. Here's both, in plain language.

What we build

Zero tolerance: any sexual content involving minors, any exploitation of minors, and any attempt to involve a minor in the service — including "watching" — is an immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities where required. Anyone who appears to be under 18 should be reported and skipped, never engaged.

What you should do

What moderation can't do — and why we say so

We don't watch live calls. Nobody reviews your video feed; calls are peer-to-peer and not recorded. That's a privacy feature and a moderation limitation at the same time — it means moderation acts on reports, not omniscience. So when you report, describe what happened in your own words: it's the only record the moderators will have. We also don't promise round-the-clock review; reports are handled in queue order.

Frequently asked questions

Is Clipars safe?

Clipars is built with safety in mind: adults only (18+), real accounts instead of anonymous matching, one-tap Report and Block in every call, human moderation of reports, and peer-to-peer video that Clipars never records. Your part: keep private information private, and skip or report anything that feels off — both cost nothing.

Is Clipars anonymous?

Not anonymously — and that is deliberate. You appear as yourself, an account holder (18+, one account per person), because anonymous matching is what lets bots and ban-evaders operate. You can still use a display name and avatar; you just cannot hide behind a fresh anonymous session.

Does Clipars record video calls?

No. Video and audio connect directly between the two callers (peer-to-peer) and are never recorded or stored by Clipars. Remember that the other person can still capture their own screen with a phone — act accordingly.

How do I report or block someone on Clipars?

Use the Report button on the call screen (it is also available next to messages and on profiles), and Block to keep someone out of your calls and messages. Calls are not recorded, so put what happened in your own words — your report text goes straight to the moderators.

What happens to people who break the rules?

Moderators review reports in queue order and can issue anything from a warning to a permanent ban. Offenses involving minors are zero tolerance: immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities where required.

Meet people, minus the nonsense. Clipars pairs you with real, signed-in people — and puts Report and Block one tap away in every call. Free, browser-based, 18+.
